Biographical Note for HUNNER'S ULCER

Hunner, Guy Leroy (1868–1957), American gynecologist. For virtually all of his career Hunner was associated with Johns Hopkins. He made important studies of sterility. In a 1932 article on the treatment of interstitial cystitis he described the lesion now known as Hunner's ulcer.
